Project Overview:
This tenant improvement project revitalizes the existing Ave Maria Welcome Center, transforming it into a bright, engaging, and informative space for both new and current residents. The goal was to create a destination that embodies the spirit of the community while delivering essential information in a fun and approachable environment.

The Interior Design was done by Creative License International, PAR Design created the architectural permit set along with coordinating the design for all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems needed for the project.

Design Style:
Modern and playful, the interior design combines vibrant finishes, creative lighting, and interactive elements to evoke a sense of energy and warmth.

Design Parameters:
Total Area: 3,200 square feet
Public-Facing Elements: Main reception area, interactive displays, seating areas, informational signage
Private Program Elements: Two private offices, small conference room, employee break room, and back-of-house workspaces

Design Details:
The main design intent was to offer a large, energetic, and welcoming environment where residents and visitors could learn more about the Ave Maria community. The refreshed interior incorporates custom lighting features, playful furnishings, and interactive seating and signage that reflect the unique character of the area.

Project Narrative:
Serving as the first point of contact for many entering the community, the Welcome Center needed to express both professionalism and personality. The redesign introduced an open, inviting layout that showcases the Ave Maria lifestyle through curated design moments and thoughtful spatial planning. Functional zones—including private offices, a conference room, and a break area—are seamlessly integrated behind the vibrant public-facing lobby.

The result is a space that informs, delights, and makes a lasting impression.
